Our men’s Strength Camp program is the evolution of small group training in toronto. It combines the intensity and comradery of group fitness with the support and guidance of personal training. This combination of team work and individual attention is what makes our Strength Camp the most unique group fitness program in toronto.

ELEVATED GROUP FITNESS

Unlike most group fitness and boot camp programs, our Strength Camp workouts are carefully crafted using evidence-based training principles and parameters. Our strength and hypertrophy workouts focus predominantly on barbell and dumbbell work, while our conditioning workouts feature ropes, wall balls, kettlebells, TRX, sandbags, etc.

What’s the average fitness level of the participants?  All fitness levels are welcome. Our groups are often a mix of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced level trainees. We pride ourselves on fast-tracking beginners & challenging our most advanced clients. Everyone will work harder than they’ve ever worked… & see the results.

What are the group workouts like?   Our classes emphasize strength training, hypertrophy and fat loss. The strength and hypertrophy components focus predominantly on weightlifting where as the fat loss components focus on conditioning use a combination of free weights, sandbags, ropes, medicine balls, sleds and body weight.

What is the atmosphere of the class like?   Despite the high intensity of the workouts the atmosphere of the class is welcoming, friendly & gregarious. There is a very palpable sense of comradery amongst our members; They encourage each other & compare notes on all things relating to men’s fitness.

What kind of results can I expect?   Our workouts are aimed at increasing strength & catalyzing a favorable shift in body composition… Increasing muscle mass & decreasing body fat.

Do I need to buy a gym membership?   The attend our Strength Camp and Personal training sessions there is no additional cost to access the facility. No need to pay an additional entrance fee or membership.

Who attends the classes?   Our strength training  program is offered exclusively to men. Most of our trainees are professionals that live or work or live in the area. Every group has a wide array of fitness levels and body types but what ties them together is their motivation to take their fitness to the next level.

What do I need to bring to class?   All you need to bring to class is a water bottle, a towel and a lock. The fitness club provides towels and water bottle for $1 each

Does the strength camp run year round?   All our programs run year round. We believe in fitness as a way of life and encourage our clients to make it part of their lifestyle year round.

What if I need to miss a class or I am away on vacation?   We understand that our clients have vacations planned and business trips scheduled. For this reason we do our best to accommodate your schedule. Simply contact us before registering to discuss registration options.

Can I attend the camp if I have an injury?   If an injury is concerning you, we have a rehab specialist on staff who would be glad to conduct an assessment and make a recommendation regarding whether or not Group Training is appropriate for you at this time. If the classes are contra-indicated for you at this time, we also offer other services such as personal training that can work around and address your particular injury.

Can I attend the Group Training classes if I am severely out of shape?   Absolutely. We have many clients that are just starting their fitness journeys. We pride ourselves on our accelerating our clients learning curve and results… regardless of their level of experience or physical fitness.
